REWARD for reporting Cruise Ship illegal dumping
Here's an important message from Global Hope affiliated member, activist Cory Harden:
REWARD for reporting cruise ship dumping ! ! !
$500,000 was awarded to a crew member who refused an order from Holland America to pump oily bilge water overboard. $250,000 was awarded to a couple who videotaped Princess Cruises dumping garbage at sea.
You may receive up to half of fines paid, if your evidence or testimony helps convict a cruise line of pollution.
There were 300 acts of dumping from 1993 to 2003. Cruise ships dumped oil, garbage, hazardous waste, sewage, and graywater; damaged coral reefs; falsified environmental records; earned over $50 million in penalties….and are still doing illegal dumping.
